About the Documentary
Migranta con M de mamá / Migrant Mother follows the stories of Vicky, Betty, and Lety—three Mexican migrant women who came to Canada under the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program. These women open their hearts to let us delve in to the complex world of maternity from afar. All from rural communities in Mexico, they face difficult choices, calculated risks, and harsh realities as they navigate the challenges of working in Canada while being separated from the families and communities they support.

This documentary has been awarded as the Best Documentary about Women by the 2021 edition of the Toronto International Women Film Festival.
