The Latin American Studies program is pleased to announce the first call for submissions for the Undergraduate Engagement Award, to support peer-to-peer engagement through the organization of remote events on issues related to Latin America or its diasporas in Canada.
The Undergraduate Engagement Award 2021 provides support to individual students and student groups to organize an original and innovative event focused on issues related to Latin America or its diasporas. Successful applicant(s) are eligible to receive up to $1,000.00 CAD to organize an event. The format of the event is flexible (lecture, workshop, panel discussion, or others); however, it must be online. This award is open to all undergraduate students in the Faculty of Arts & Science, with preference to those enrolled in the Latin American Studies Major or Minor programs.
