The Latin American Studies Program at the Department of Spanish and Portuguese and the Organization of Latin American Students (OLAS St. George) are proud to invite you to be a part of our 8th Annual Undegraduate Research Day.
We are happy to announce our call for papers for the Eight Annual Undergraduate Research Day, scheduled for February 7, 2020.
We are inviting undergraduate students doing research on topics related to Latin America to submit proposals for presentations. URD is a one-day conference, conceived to allow (primarily) 3rd- year and above students to present any PAST course papers or research from independent studies, to an audience of faculty members and other undergraduate students. This setting provides an excellent opportunity to receive important feedback from a mixed (but expert) audience, in a friendly and exciting environment. For this purpose, students must pre-circulate the article or piece of writing in which they will base their 20 minutes presentation. The conference is scheduled for February 7, 2020.
