Spanish and Portuguese Translation Examination -

Please note that this language exam is offered only once a year, usually in late October or early November.
Currently enrolled graduate students who would like to take a Spanish or a Portuguese exam to fulfill their program language requirements must register with our Graduate Administrator at least two weeks in advance of the exam. We have not scheduled the test for 2025 yet, but we anticipate it will be held in late October or early November. Please review this website at the beginning of the Fall term for more details.
When registering, graduate students should email with the following information: their full name (as in official university records), the language of the exam they intend to take, their Student ID number, the name and email address of their home Graduate Administrator / Coordinator / Chair as appropriate so that we inform them about the results of the examination.
Bilingual paper dictionaries are allowed. For more information about the examinations, please contact our Graduate Administrator.
