About the Workshop:
Join Melissa Morris for a participatory three-hour workshop - from a stage and performance perspective - to learn more about how to use your voice, develop your stage presence and public-speaking skills and learn effective communication techniques you can use in the classroom and beyond!
About the Presenter:
Melissa Morris is an actor, singer, musician, musical director, composer, director, playwright, and educator. She is a graduate of Queen’s University and Australian National University. Melissa’s career as a performer, musical director and director has taken her across North America and the Caribbean. She was Resident Musical Director / Composer at St Lawrence Shakespeare Festival for 10 seasons and has directed and musical directed at different companies in Canada. Melissa has taught at Queen’s University, Sheridan College, St. Lawrence College, and now teaches in both the Musical Theatre and Acting for the Stage and Screen programs in Capilano University in North Vancouver, as well as teaching voice and acting online.
