The Latin American Studies program is glad to invite all University of Toronto students interested in participating in its podcast "El CafeciTO" or considering starting their own podcast to this workshop. In this event, you will consider is podcasting is the right medium for you. You will also discuss useful strategies on how to craft a narrative thread for the stories you want to share and learn about available resources for you to consider when podcasting.
About the Presenter
Salvador Alanis is a PhD student in the Spanish program. He also has 40 years of experience as communications, marketing and advertising consultant for top commer international brands, in addition to over 25 years of experience as a TV and radio producer. As a cultural practitioner, Salvador has developed work as a poet, translator, electronic media performance artisit and most recently, film director.
