A presentation of a report on the university experience of students with Latin American cultural background at the University of Toronto.
About this Event
The University of Toronto is the academic home to a great diversity of students. Students who identify themselves as having Latin American cultural background made up 4% of first-year students and 2% of senior students, in 2017 (according to the National Survey of Student Engagement).
To better understand the needs of these students, the Latin American Studies program partnered with the Innovation Hub to engage students enrolled in LAS 401 H1 - Latinos in Toronto - in a collaborative project.
